1 phone interview, then an in person interview with 6 different people. I did not receive an offer but would have declined regardless.
My major take away from the interview process was there is bad blood and a "throw the hands in the air" approach regarding the relationship between product and technical teams. One interviewer described the situation as toxic and described how work is done behind people's back all the time, it didn't bother him. A more senior interviewer mocked a description of my current employers workflow twice, it was the most rude experience I've had in an interview. This person seemed condescending in our brief encounter.
I would warn future applicants that the culture seemed really toxic in my brief encounter, 1 tell tale sign was that I was interviewed by ONLY product people, but the job required me to work with technical teams more than 50% of the time. There were no technical folks interviewing, it seemed odd, the technical teams were described as some second cousin no one wanted to work with.
