    Account Director Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Seattle, WA
    Declined Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

    Interview

Single phone interview with VP then a face to face with the President.
He seemed quite arrogant and presented a lot of "this is how we do it and don't question authority" type comments, which basically echoed comments on employee reviews from 2012 to date, which I understand is within the timeline of his Presidency.

    Interview Questions

    • More of a comment, but "I don't like to repeat myself when talking to people. You should get it the first time. These people annoy me".   Answer Question

    Reasons for Declining

I feel like I dodged a bullet as so many other employees in the NC office warn. If he is like this in an interview, how approachable, understanding and open to discussion can he possibly be when you are an actual employee.

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Addison Whitney (Charlotte, NC) in April 2014.

    Interview

It was a phone screening, mainly for me to ask questions, and then one in-person interview with three people. It wasn't bad, but they seem to look for people eager to learn and generally well-spoken.
