I was approached by an outside recruiting firm in March 2026. I went through five interviews; completed one take-home exercise that I presented to the hiring committee; was invited to an in-person drink with the hiring manager; was later invited to join the board for a 3 hour dinner. And the company did not hire me, nor did they tell me I didn't get the job. I had to text the hiring manager roughly six times over the course of three months...only to find out that they hired another candidate and didn't bother to tell me. If this is how this company treats candidates, I worry for anyone who has accepted a role there. This was the most negligent and unkind recruiting process I've ever experienced.
