Reached out to the CEO, who forwarded my resume to recruiting. Recruiting contacted me and subsequently recommended that I move through the process. An interview was set with the hiring leader, and I logged in only to have the hiring leader 6 minutes late for the meeting and not even offer an apology for their tardiness. Apparently, a pressing matter was occuring and of course, I graciously agreed to reschedule and took it upon myself to reach out to the recruiter, whom this person didn't even know, to reschedule my interview. The interview was rescheduled based on the availability of all. Then the night before, after 6 PM, I got a call from the recruiter saying the interview was completely off as I wasn't a good fit.
That really is not acceptable and tells me a lot about the corporate culture and the department that this individual leads. I consider myself to be a professional with a strong business acumen, and I feel that I dodged a bullet after investing time and effort needlessly.
