I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Al Jazeera (Doha) in Dec 2023
Interview
Very relaxing without any pressure or tention compared to the traditional in person interviews. You are been asked a very simple question but demands multiple answers. Honestly you might not feel you are being interview it is just like texting with a colleague
I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Al Jazeera (Doha) in Mar 2023
Interview
Sent in resume in response to ad. Conducted and submitted written tests, one of them timed. Passed. Conducted skype interview. Horrible. Main interviewer asked one question then took a phone call and ignored the process, while those that would have nothing to do with it, a higher exec (silent) and HR person, interviewed in light hearted manner. All in all, a drawn out waste of time.

Question 1
What would you put on air if Emmanuel Macron was assassinated?
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Al Jazeera (Washington, DC) in Jan 2023
Interview
It was very opaque. HR was there and the people who would be my supervisors were there, but they weren't sure which role they wanted me for as there were two openings: one temp, the other permanent. I reached out to them a month after my interview to express that I was still interested in the position but I had another offer. But then I didn't hear back from them at all for another month saying they went with another candidate.
