There were several rounds of phone calls, starting off with a high-ranking research leader and then with a handful of other researchers, one of whom I indirectly reported to when I was eventually hired.

Question 1
I don't remember the specifics of the questions too well, but they were very focused on intellectual curiosity as a trait they were looking for in candidates. I enjoyed this aspect of the interview process; they asked me how I might think about this or that scenario in the sectors they specialize in from an analytical perspective (fairly informally; there was nothing as elaborate as a typical case study).
Meeting with the MD and senior staff for a very casual chat to check fit. Mugjt ask technical qns if you are applying for a more senior role. For new hires you will be met with a standard 90 minjte written exercise to write about a tech topic of your choosing
