I applied through the company's online portal and was contacted for an interview four days later. The HR initially scheduled the call for November 19, 2024. However, the interviewer didn’t show up when I joined the call. I waited for 15 minutes, and emailed HR, but received no response. I stayed on the call until the scheduled time ended (45 minutes). The following day, the HR apologized and rescheduled the interview for November 25, 2024. The second interview went smoothly, with the interviewer being polite and engaging. We worked through some SQL coding, and I was able to produce the required final output. However, when the interviewer realized the interview was supposed to last an hour, I felt the interviewer became less engaged, and seemed unable to address my remaining questions. Since then, despite following up 2-3 times, I haven’t received any updates from the company. It would have been much more helpful if they had provided some kind of response, even if it was just to say there were no updates. Overall, I feel the communication could be improved.
