Interview
Initial call from an HR rep asking when I could schedule an in-person interview. Actual interview was very casual with the potential supervisor. I was asked to go more in depth with what I had on my resume and to give examples to easy technical questions. The interview was primarily concerned with my proficiency in basic skills--pipetting, working with dilutions and volumes, handling body fluid specimens, etc. Also concerned with scheduling flexibility. No wage negotiations, though.

Interview
One to one interview with the supervisor in an office, the supervisor was very relaxed not dressed up at all. After you're done answering the questions he shows you the laboratory and shows you the machines you will be working with. After the walk-thru, he just tells you that he makes recommendations and HR will pick the person. If you're picked they will let you know.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Antech Diagnostics (Oak Brook, IL) in Nov 2016
Interview
I went in for my interview and met the boss. We sat down for maybe 2 minutes while she asked me about myself, then proceeded to tell me about the position. She gave me a tour of the entire lab, then offered me the position on the spot. Literally the easiest interview I've ever been on.
