Antelope Valley Press interview questions

I emailed my resume in response to the copy editor job posting and was contacted by the editor-in-chief the next day to set up an interview. The interview was with the editor and the managing editor and consisted mostly of questions about my school work (I was a recent college grad) and my career goals. They were very nice throughout the interview and kind of goofy, making jokes which helped to put me more at ease. The interview seemed to be more of a formality so they could see my character rather than an interrogation about my qualifications. They asked me to take an editing test at the end of the interview. I actually did not end up getting an offer originally, but they called me about a month later saying that there was another opening for a copy editor and offered me the job.
