I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Apercen Partners (Chicago, IL)
Interview
One phone call and one zoom call. Very easy and like able people. Got an offer within about a a week after the calls. Easy and I recommended applying to the company.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Apercen Partners (Folsom, CA) in Feb 2026
Interview
Lengthy interview process. First call is prescreening, then as many as 3-4 interviews. The interviewers have been nice though, a little intense depending on who you get to interview with.
This was the most unprofessional interview of my life. The recruiter was so incompetent and bad at her job. I had FIVE interviews and I had to follow up with her every time to schedule the next one. She'd send wrong dates/times when we finally did have a time in place. She wouldn't include a meeting link so I was constantly correcting her mistakes.
When they gave the job to someone else, they didn't even notify me. I, once again, had to follow up with the recruiter.
With so many great recruiters on the market, I have no idea why they keep this person around.
