I first interviewed with the company's COO then several other senior-level executives. The interviews spanned 2-3 weeks followed by radio silence. Not only was I ghosted, but the executive recruiter also reported being ghosted by the COO. There was no follow up or update. Later, I was informed by the recruiter that the company reposted the position with the title of medical director. I presume that they thought they could attract less experienced candidates whom they could pay less. I found their behavior to be quite unprofessional, especially since this was a C-suite level position.
