Thanks for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you had a negative interview experience. We had investigated the situation and playback on the recorded video interview. We noted that the interviewer had expressed her apology promptly to your good self when she could not start the session with you at 11am on 26 Feb. Though there were several minutes late on her part, however, the interviewer did explain to you at the message tab under Google Meet that she was held up by an overrun meeting, Subsequently, it was recorded that your interview begun at 11:07 am with the interviewer.
Also, when you asked in regards to those low ratings left by our previous interns at Glassdoor, the response given by the interviewer i.e. we shared AppDine has an alpha culture, hence there are instances for lazy or under-performing interns, AppDine has to prematurely exit these interns after iterative coaching if no improvements were made by them.
While Glassdoor has good merits in wanting to encourage transparent feedbacks to provide assessments on all companies, however, it is also an on-going concern as Glassdoor is unable to know or police if the terminated non-performing employees take their sharings out of context and made fictitious statements on the company.
The feedbacks where you shared that the interviewer will potentially take legal action against previous glassdoor reviewers are not without prima facie. Primarily, we noted you had read a negative review at Glassdoor, hence you had posed concerns if there are no other permanent employees or CIO in the company? The interviewer was alarmed by this falsehood. Hence, from the video recordings, we noted the interviewer did explain to you since our inception in the Year 2016, AppeDine has 3 x permanent staff and 20 x full-time contractors. Also, the monologue that you cited in regards to the interviewer's experiences are with testimonials that we wanting to ensure all interns joining our company are learning from our well-established management team whom most of them have worked globally across MNC and good network with industry leaders.
