Recruiter conducted an initial video screen. Then once client expressed interest in interviewing she setup an interview prep meeting with her, myself and two other current AIS employees. They spent about an hour mock interviewing me, telling me questions to research, and providing advise on responses I gave.
I have never had any company spend that kind of time helping someone they didn't know to land a job.
The client interview was a panel of two people, hiring manager and another tester. Time was one hour. Introductions, described the position and duties, and situational questions, and questions about SQL and Cypress.
Unfortunately after accepting an offer, I was told I had to use an app called "plaid". This app requires a cellphone, which I had informed the recruiter several times, that I do not own a cellphone. Was able to get the check going with someone else's phone, but the app did not identify me, and was it was due to having most of our mail sent to a UPS store. So because I don't own a cellphone, and don't get packages at my home, they withdrew the offer. Obviously this stands in stark contrast to the rest of the process.
