I applied online. A recruiter reached out to me for the initial conversation (30 min), then connected me with her manager (30 min), and finally their VP (45 min). Everyone was friendly and casual throughout the process, though the conversations were fairly unstructured so it was difficult to prepare for or find the right time to ask questions. I was at the end stage when they announced a hiring freeze, and asked me to reconsider in a few months. I ended up accepting another job elsewhere, but had a pretty good impression of Applied after the conversations. However, they did require to be in-person in South Bay as a part of their work culture for the first year, which gave me hesitation since most companies are offering full remote opportunities.
