Interview
Argus contacted me very quickly after my application to invite me for an interview in their office in London. I took a two-hour test and then had a face to face interview to go over the test and answer some other questions. Everyone was very friendly and upfront about the expectations and what benefits were available. Although I did not get the job, they did keep in contact about other opportunities I could go after with them.

Interview
Subbing test that involves cutting copy, erasing duplications, correcting formatting errors and standard spelling mistakes. Keep an eye on units (metres, etc).
Writing test - write a 275 word story based on newswire feeds about an Opec meeting. Avoid the red herrings and focus on Opec production.
Maths test - mental arithmetic. 12 questions in 12 minutes. Extremely easy. If you cannot get 100% in this, you don't deserve the job.
