Arlington County Government interview questions

The head of the department will reach out to you personally through email correspondence to discuss the next steps or any further information you might need. This is in contrast to other government positions, where applicants are required to submit their applications exclusively through the official government website, following the standard procedural guidelines.

The one-way interview was an absolutely horrible experience. This is no way to get to know your candidates. The program used was glitchy and the whole experience left a corporate-overlord, emotionless taste in my mouth. I hope to never ever encounter an experience like this again. I understand they might not be able to speak to every candidate but at least a 10-15 minute phone screening would have been nice. Not sure I would even like to work for a company who thinks it's a good idea to watch videos of their candidates instead of actually talking to them. Embarrassing, do better.
