      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Atlas Technica

      Interview

It lasted about 75 - 78 Minutes. It was the first round. I interviewed in 2026. Started with the general questions about me and my previous experiences. After that it went into a little technical where I was given an issue where a user cannot connect to a website but other workstations can. So far seemed perfect for a Jr position. Then they gave me a 55 questions Multiple choice that went DEEP into Microsoft 365 suites and all the products in it inluding Azure, Entra ID etc. Very Microsoft 365 focused, definitely study up on that. I did like the Multiple choice type testing for technical. After that came a Short answer portion of around 10-15 questions. Same thing, Went deep into Microsoft 365 product suite. Then I was invited in for a second round, Started with 2 tests both Short Answer, 1st one was about Active Directory, 2nd was about standard networking questions, Some of the questions asked about port numbers so study that, that was the first 1 hour of it, then a manager came in and started with the interview where they gave 6 scenerios of issues (IT Issues) and I had to show him step by step on what I would do to resolve those issues. that lasted around 1 hour. in Total 2nd round lasted for almost 2.5 hours

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

      # Port Numbers for net. protocols, define Active directory (Also some deep Active Directory questions). # 6 different standard IT issue scenerios. Printer not working, Wifi not working while WFH etc.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Atlas Technica (New York, NY) in Mar 2026

      Interview

The systematic approach begins through the career portal, submitting the CV on their website will assign to an recruiter team which are assigned to communicate with you. This process allow them database their candidates putting into screening pools: taking pre-assessment course on personality/behavioral identification, instructions on setup an video interview with scripted questions and less discourse on understanding how you can fit into their role while going into an academic routes in critical thinking mixing in math/logic. The mechanical of the overall experience is the criteria hold, I noticed their instructions for setup the meeting requires Teams installed in Windows I did it on the web from another OS so there's no strict requirement for it. The communication from the recruiting team is lacking as I did them emails which left unanswered assuming they are busy on their international borders. The nature of the hiring process focused more on your knowledge, thinking skills and scenario based questions while this direction is telling more about the calculated structure which could hint their culture of the company, I feel that there could be more connection to be had but also provide me an observation of how interviews like this provide insight behind the companies that you're looking to work in.

      Jr. Systems Engineer Interview

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Atlas Technica in Apr 2025

      Interview

First round interview took around 75 minutes long, had pre aptitude testing before hand. At the start of the interview, you are speaking with a recruiter about general questions like describe yourself and your experiences so far. The recruiter did not work for the office I was applying for. Then it went into a 55 question multiple choice technical test that you have 20 minutes to complete. Then you have to do a troubleshooting simulation with the recruiter that is 2 phases (one without information, and one with more information). Then you go into a 13 question written response section that asks you more technical questions. The whole process was cold, there was no real person to person connection. They are just watching you as you take these tests in silence. Rigorous interview for a Jr position, especially for the first round. After completing the interview, it made me realize that I would not want to work for a company that is not personable at all. Seems like there is no community and is all about business.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Asked 55 technical questions about Azure, AD, Networking, Powershell Scripts, M365. The simulation was about a user having issues connecting to a website that works on other devices but not theirs, other browsers did not work. Free response questions about your knowledge about M365 and Azure and the differences between AD and Azure.
