I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Audax Group (Boston, MA) in Jan 2014
Interview
Two on campus interviews--one case with a VP and a fit interview with an MD. Second round was in Boston and composed of 4-5 30' interviews--a couple cases and a few fit interviews all with VPs or MDs. Relatively painless process and there was no attempt to "sweat" the candidates in any way. Seemed like a fair evaluation process to me.

Case interview w vp first round, then another two MD cases and one HR MD for final round and then offers, the cases were guided and not open ended consulting style, felt like real applicable cases

Consulting Case Questions + Behavioral. Two rounds - first round was one case and on behavioral, second was ~4 interviews. Much more akin to a consulting style interview with 'Case in Point' style questions.
