Audio Transcription Center interview questions

Online application, follow up email then phone call. Received call asking me to come in for an interview. After that, was scheduled for a four hour transcription test that consisted of four audio files to be transcribed quickly and accurately. You are given a head set, a computer and a foot pedal to control the speed and direction of the audio playback. You read a manual on how their process works, what format they are looking for in their transcripts, etc. Each file is then passed through a program when you are completed, which shows one of the employees mistakes and the like. It was really an awful office environment and was incredibly depressing to see.
