It turned out to be an unpaid internship which wasn't what was agreed initially. The whole process even seemed off-putting and sketchy. Some members of the group we were added to claimed to have been used for unpaid labour previously.

There was actually no internship so the barrier of entry is low but they also actively manipulate their interns by not providing any pay and forcing us to work overtime
