I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BAE Systems (London, England) in Feb 2015
Interview
Interview was in 2 phases. First round was a 1:1 interview where I had a discussion and was asked some questions from my CV. It last about 20 minutes and was fairly straight forward. The interviewer told me right at the end that he would recommend me for a second round of interview where I would be asked to do a presentation on a subject of my choice followed by a competency interview.
The second part of the interview was for about 2 hours. The first 10-15 minutes was my presentation followed by questions and then quite a considerable amount of time spent on various competency related questions. I enjoyed the overall interview process even though I did not get an offer.

Question 1
If I was given the job where would I see myself in 3 years?
Clear interview process, not too onerous or convoluted. A presentation is expected at the final stage but this is only expected to be brief.
All interviews were friendly and welcoming.
I wasn’t offered the role but nothing put me off applying for something else in the future.
