One phone interview of 30 mn.
Second onsite interview that was supposed to be 1 hour and half.
During the phone interview I told the guy, that I have 18 years of programming experience but don't have an experience with Node.js. He told me that this was not a problem, that they constantly learned new languages and frameworks.
Finally I was invited to their office to continue the process.
At the office, during the first half of hour at 10 AM I was asked to explain and to draw the architecture scheme of one of my projects.
As I finished, the young guy, that came to interview me without even my CV and consequently had no clue about what I had done during my 18 years career, asked me to wait for another guy to join us.
During the conversation I was told again that they constantly learned new technologies and that I could be calm regarding the Node.js.
Suddenly, one guy entered the room, told me his name and explained that they have decided not to continue with me because I don't have Node.js experience.
WTF!!!
Extremely unprofessional!!!
Embarrassing!!!
