I applied online. I interviewed at BTD Manufacturing
Interview
The interview process was very smooth and swift. I had a phone interview with the Manufacturing manager and then an in-person interview with a small panel of engineers and managers. They asked both standard interview questions and personal questions in an effort to get to know me.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BTD Manufacturing (Lakeville, MN) in Jan 2023
Interview
I was there for around 2 hours, ~15 minutes waiting, an hour interview, 45 minutes of facility tour. They were very nice and seemed interested in what I had to say.

Describe a time where things did not go according to plan, and how did you respond?

Interview
Interviewed with the hiring manager who was very professional and asked about how my experiences could benefit their business. Also walked around with another engineer and a shift supervisor. Basic questions, nothing out of the ordinary about the interview until the Director of Operations came in. He was extremely unprofessional and told me he didn't look at my resume prior to walking in the room. So he asked me to briefly describe myself and go through my resume. Before I could complete two sentences, he interrupted me and blurted out- "how much do you want to make" maybe this is their culture but I didn't get that feeling from the other interviewers. He mentioned his age twice along with his title. Seems to me that someone may have moved up the ladder a bit quicker that they should have. I did ask the Director one question about expected growth over the next 5 years and the only thing he said was we'll double. No numbers, no forecasting, nothing... overall just extremely unprofessional with someone of that title.
