The interview process was split into 3 stages:
1. Skype interview with someone from recruitment
2. Skype interview with QA Manager and Senior QA Tester
3. On site interview with QA Manager and the team I'd be working with
I've never been through such an efficient hiring process. It felt like they really cared and wanted to make it as smooth as possible for me. The 1st stage was a Skype interview with someone from recruitment where we ran through my CV going over skills and experience. Straight after the first Skype interview I was asked to attend the 2nd stage Skype interview for the following day. I didn't have to wait at all, everything was done and organised very quickly. They were also very flexible with interview times to fit around me.
2nd stage Skype interview was going more into detail with my skills and experience and how they would apply to the role. This interview lasted around 45 mins. I heard back on the same day that they wanted me in for an on site interview
3rd Stage was on site for 2 hours meeting various people from the QA team and other teams i would potentially be working with to discuss more in depth the system and the processes.
Even after I accepted the Job offer, Dio from recruiting regularly kept in contact with me to ensure everything was going smoothly and to make sure I had everything ready for the relocation to Berlin, and he was always available if I had any questions.
Whereas other interview processes I've been through leave you hanging waiting for an answer for weeks on end. The process with Babbel was very quick and smooth. The point from application through to the on site interview and job offer was only 2 weeks.
