The interview process were simple. First was technical and post which it was managerial. Interview on the technical part was primarily focused on HTML, JQuery, CSS and JavaScripts. Nothing much from java as the recruitment was for the mobile application development.
Managerial round too was fine where the positive attitude of the candidate played the vital role.
After successful completion of managerial round, it was a situational judgement test to be taken through online. Post clearing you will be called for document verification.
Now came the real problem, the SALARY. Barclay's salary % for discussion was far lower to industrial standards. And if you start negotiating the HRs cowards, redirects to the manager for further discussion. And what happened to me from him was horrible:
1. At one of point discussion, Terming my candidature as “LOGGERHEAD” forced me to look back at my technical stuff and really made me feel bad. Putting my confidence quotient low. Barclay's is neither going to give me a job for granted nor the SALARY for namesake. I work and I'm going to be paid.
2. While negotiating all along, the manager said like “Cannot be given” on a harder tone, when I politely demanded for a package which was 40-45% as per industry standards. This job that I was looking is not for granted and even there were couple rounds at their end which I had made it through to be at this final stage. Ironically, this involves pretty much of work at my end.
Before even joining the concern a slave like treatment made me not even to get an offer from them. Was a weird experience from the most reputed captive unit.
