First and foremost, I wanted to thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we admittedly are more partial to the positive reviews, if there are things we're not doing right, it's important we hear about them to fix them.
Our interview process is designed to be a fair evaluation of skills and experience for the respective roles we're hiring for. We also have a referral program that we leverage to bring in strong talent to the process, reduce costs, and reduce turnover rates (See references here: https://medium.com/hr-blog-resources/8-most-important-employee-referral-statistics-f7c25cf41667). We don't hire our friends, but we do hire strong applicants who come highly endorsed.
Apologies if our interactions came across as arrogant! Due to the complex nature of our product, we require a very high bar of education for certain positions. As for our compensation practices, we conduct regular industry analyses for all our roles to ensure we are in line with the market. When we see a discrepancy, we take the necessary steps to correct it.
