6.) Business Partner Interview
(End Panel Interview Set)
7.) Executive interview
8.) Final Interview
Positives: Clear and transparent interview format, challenging and interesting questions. It is clear on the type of candidate they are looking for - which is fantastic.
Negatives: From my opinion, the process was lengthy with too many touch points. Upon the final interview I was told that I should hear back by end of the day. Unfortunately I didn't hear back until a week later. My rejection came in on a Sunday morning with no feedback. I requested feedback from the recruiter and a week later from the coordinator. Both employees never responded.
During one of my interviews, the interviewer had construction or something going on in the background which was distracting. When asked about work-life balance at BetterUp the answer was "Well, it is physically impossible for humans to work 24/7." Then didn't proceed to actually share their thoughts on work/life balance...
I understand that companies want to go with the best candidate, in this case I wasn't selected and that is OK, this is all part of the process and I don't take it personally. However, I would have rated this a positive experience on this platform if the recruiting team replied to my feedback requests. The team at BetterUp actually emailed me a few weeks after the fact asking for feedback from me about the process. I filled out the form and then tried one last time to request feedback which again was left unanswered.
