I gave an interview with BirlaSoft for the post of .net developer with 2.5 years of experience, my Expected CTC was 7.5 LPA, and I already cleared the HR prior to the interview process since I was holding a counter offer. They were fine with that and also willing to consider my candidature.
3 round of interview took place.

After getting selected in all 3 rounds and coming to the salary negotiation part, they started CRYING that the maximum they can offer is 5LPA which was way less than my counteroffer of 6.5LPA. The reason she gave was, they don't offer that much salary for just a 2.5-year experienced engineer, so this was not known prior to the interview... Great. After taking down my expectation to 7LPA, the HR said she will let me know if I getting the offer or not, and guess what.... she never called me after that and stopped picking up my calls also. I don't want to stretch the matter on a phone call but such company employees need to be exposed who ruin the company ethics and also professional ethics.
Be Aware Guys. The company is too poor to judge salary on the basis of experience and not knowledge. I will never ever suggest anyone join this company. These guys wasted my 3 precious days before joining a new organization.
