The usual: phone screen -> technical call (didn't make it past here). HR was nice enough, though they were pretty delayed in getting back to me after the phone screen (> 1 week).
The technical screen interviewer wasn't a good match for me, personally-speaking. He came across as a bit arrogant and carried a know-it-all attitude, talked fast (you know, one of those talkers who does it to impress himself), and didn't make me feel at ease. All I'll say is I wouldn't have approached it with the attitude that he did.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Blend in Sep 2025

The interview focused on basis yet really fundamental concepts. Both rounds lasted for about an hour. Interviewers were cordial and polite. The quality of questions were good.
