I went through college placements, the process started with screening of resumes. Then followed by an online round which had 3 coding questions to be solved in 1hr 30 min. I solved all three with all test cases passed within 45 mins. Then we were called for interview. In the first round they discussed resume, in second round they gave me a puzzle first(which is basically of no use) then I was asked to design a database which I was able to do in the most optimized way. Then I was told results will be updated to the college. I was not selected no reasons given.
I was actually interested in the problem gtofers is solving and at the scale they are solving, but seems like merit and skills are not counted I have won hackathons, done my own startup and currently handling a end to end SAAS product but what matters is book knowledge some school kids level puzzles
My suggestion to you guys if you want to survive in this cut throat competition market kindly change the way you hire, respect talent other wise your competition will finish you and the talent which you guys don't realize will be in companies you are competing with and you can't compete with them when you don't have good enough people.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Blinkit in Oct 2019
Interview
Holistic approach towards determining candidate's skills and experience. Went beyond the traditional yardstick of DS/Algo and discussed my motivation and approach towards software development. Overall a positive experience interviewing for them.
I applied online. I interviewed at Blinkit in Oct 2018
Interview
The interview process started with a telephonic round. It was good, asked about projects and stuff, culture fit etc. They were keen to know about how you ensure good coding practices, code reviews and technology advancement. It was a good ice-breaker on both the sides.
