I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Blush Novelties in Aug 2023
Interview
It was a good conversation held with good respect for my time and my experiences. They were enthusiastic with regards to talking to me and were open to all kinds of questions, though I didn't ask many I felt comfortable asking questions in the first interview that I usually held for the second. They were responsive with questions after the fact as well.

Question 1
Why do you want to work here and what do you bring to the table?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Blush Novelties (Garden City, NY) in Aug 2023
Interview
I applied online and was granted a zoom interview in which I met with the team lead in which I learned they've only been here for a few months. I was moved on to meet with one of the company leaders who went on to talk about the owners and how the position fits within the rest of the team. Red flags immediately went up when they described how the owner has an “entrepreneurial spirit”, a “big personality”, and how this role would correlate with working with him. I was told the job would “not be an easy job”, in which I could tell because I’ve seen this position and similar ones pop-up several times over the last couple of years. They even mentioned how this position was integral into the Marketing department, and how they never had all the roles for it filled at the same time. I was invited for an on-site interview to meet with the team. But after reading some other reviews online about this place with all the negative ones talking about the same issues, I went with my gut and decided to discount myself from the process so as to not waste their time any further. Overall, everyone was very professional and very nice, but professional working relationships only go so far if one were to risk working for a company where turnover is an issue and the root of it is not addressed.
