I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Bombas
Interview
The interview process was incredibly lengthy. For this entry level position, I had six interviews over the course of 3.5 months. I was also asked to complete a writing test and a data test. I loved everything that Bombas stands for, as well as their products and dedication to their customer, so I was beyond excited to be interviewing. That being said, it was incredibly time consuming as I would spend time preparing for each interview as well as working on the extra tasks that they asked me to submit. Not to mention, when I was interviewing I also had a full time job and it was very challenging to ask for time away so I could accommodate Bombas's interview schedule.
In the end, I was really disappointed with Bombas's communication. After each interview, it would take forever to hear back from them, sometimes as long as three weeks. After my final interview, where I met with one of the founders, I was told that I would be hearing back by the end of the week. That didn't happen, and I was interviewing elsewhere with shorter hiring processes who were applying pressure, so I reached out again to ask when I might be hearing back. No response. After 6 interviews, I couldn't get the HR Manager to respond to me. Later that week, I reached out a second time and copied the hiring manager as well as the HR manager. Finally, he gave me a call and gave me the news that I didn't get the job.
Of course I was incredibly disappointed, I had invested so much time and emotion to this interview process- but what I was most frustrated with was the fact that it didn't seem like they respected me enough to be straightforward and transparent with me. Even if I had been offered the job, I had gotten so frustrated and felt so strung along that it would have felt tarnished. I never heard back from the HR manager.
While I believe that Bombas is a company that is doing good for the world and has the best intentions, I was disappointed with their interview process and the whole experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Interview
Submitted application in July 2022 and received a request for interview in August 2022. The lady was pleasant and nice but felt like I was being strung along. Even though they said they wanted me to consider the Customer Happiness Associate, Social [ temporary], I did. However, even though. I had all the experience and believed the same values, I wasn't selected to move forward. Not sure why since the position was going to be temporary anyway and had experience and am always ready and willing to learn. Disappointed but oh well.

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Bombas (New York, NY) in Nov 2021
Interview
4 interviews over the course of about 5 weeks. with several individuals. There was a "homework" assignment which took some time to complete. The last individual was fairly distracted by their computer while interviewing virtually, not prepared. Seems as though they look for a cultural fit and not so much experience & ability to perform the duties listed.

Interview
I had an incredible interview process! Communication was prompt, clear, and the tone was conversational. First was two 30 minute phone calls, then a 2 hour Zoom interview with 4 people on the team I was applying for. I really felt that everyone was engaging and attentive, connecting in a personal way. Though I didn't get the position, I am applying again!
