My candidate experience started out very positively with timely communication and feedback with 1-2 days after interviews. I met with both Alexis and and Mark in addition to a couple of other leaders. They asked for my references and even called one of them.
They were traveling during part of my process and wanted to speak with me together virtually. What I assumed was going to be a standard interview was actually them making a proposal to me to join their team and they wished to discuss terms of that on the spot. I was definitely surprised and a bit unprepared to have a negotiation oriented conversation at that moment with two attorneys on the other side. Nonetheless, we ended things semi-aligned with them saying that they'd get back to me within 24 hours with the final offer conditions.
Several days passed and I finally reached out. They shared that some travel plans had changed and they were tied up and asked if we could reconnect in the next days couple of days. This literally happened MULTIPLE times where they would ask for my availability to speak on X or X day and then literally never came back to me.
To this day they have never responded to the final time I provided them with my availability (this was 2 weeks ago).
The unprofessionalism and disorganization of this experience is beyond me. I have never experienced such a run around and to be honest a waste of my time (and theirs).
I was SO excited about what I thought it would be like to take on this role but honestly now feel that I dodged a bullet.
