We always evaluate every opportunity to improve our hiring/ interview process. Each applicant is considered collaboratively with the hiring managers, who make the final decision, and HR, who sometimes relays their decision. We do encourage the formal submission of counter-offers in writing, however based on pay bands, experience, and job title the counter offer may not be approved. Additionally, other factors are taken into account during the hiring/job acceptance process including but not limited to: communication style, ability to work well with others, subject expertise, and professionalism.
