I applied online. I interviewed at British Council in Mar 2017
Interview
Video interview sent via email. I was asked 5 questions and was given 90 seconds to prepare after I had seen the question before it started filming. For one question I had 270 seconds to prepare. I can only remember 3 of the questions. I havent yet had a response back from the BC.

Question 1
Q: Why do you want to work for the British Council?
A very long and extensive application form in which you answer a lot of questions about yourself, preferences and experience. You do need a good amount of relevant experience and it is very competitive but thorough.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at British Council (London, England) in Feb 2023
Interview
It was an online interview, in which I was given 5 minutes to prepare for each question. The quesitons mainly asked about why I was interested in teaching in Argentina, and I focused mainly on my cover letter, expanding a little. I found it difficult to fit everything into the 1 minute window, but with a little practice it wwas ok (I think there were 2 or 3 attmepts possible). All in all, the interview process was quick and easy.
The first stage was a written online application form, then there was an online video interview with self recorded answers and no option to rerecord, which took about 15 minutes.
