Question 1
What are the open source contributions you did till now?
I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Canonical (Emea) in Apr 2025
Interview
So I know three people, including myself, who interviewed at Canonical for different jobs - we all went through the process at different times. Each of us made it through every interview round and got great feedback from our interviewers - they seemed really impressed with what we knew. But then? All three of us got rejected with some generic auto-reply email that didn’t even explain why. No real feedback, nothing. The funny thing is, we all ended up landing jobs at solid startups and big tech companies, but somehow couldn’t get an offer from Canonical.
Honestly, their whole interview process feels like a joke. Sure, you might learn a thing or two while interviewing, but I wouldn’t recommend anyone waste their time with their crappy process.
