I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Canonical in Jun 2025
Interview
Wrote 3k words for written interview, and then asked candidates to write GIA test to “test your IQ”. Replied they are honored to have 80, 000+ applications per month for their open roles globally.
I looked at the whole hiring process and feel lucky to stop at this point. Long and meaningless interviews that I find ridiculous.

Question 1
A super long list about your school and work experience.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Canonical (Nairobi) in Apr 2026
Interview
The interview was quite accomodating since the first written interview was for 2 weeks. The second one was for 1 month giving time to do them. It is not suitable for someone seeking for a job in the next one week, month or two
Terrible experience on so many levels. I wrote an 10 page essay and got rejected. Second interview is an automated leetcode style question. Never got past to the third step.
