I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CapTech (Richmond, VA) in Apr 2021

Interview

- Recruiter screen - Virtual super day including ~1hr data analytics-focused case interview and ~45 minute behavioral interview. Interviewers were accommodating and reassuring despite my lack of familiarity with case interviews

Asked to identify pitfalls / caveats in a sample data analysis and present a revised analysis to a fictional business audience

Interview

Two rounds and power day, power day included a case study. First two were behavioral. Phone, then behavioral, then three on power day with last being technical. Overall not a bad experience.

There were three interviews - a screen interview, a technical interview, and a case / behavioral interview. None of them were too intimidating, because they make it clear that they just want to get a sense of how you think through and handle problems.

CapTech's interview process was amazing! Everyone I talked to was refreshingly welcoming and genuinely fun to talk to. They pulled out all the stops for my final round in Richmond, it honestly felt more like a vacation than an interview process.
