Question 1
Warum möchtest du bei Celonis arbeiten?
Was machst du in deiner derzeitigen Stelle?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Celonis (Bengaluru) in Jan 2026
Interview
The Celonis interview process is a massive, disorganized time sink that lacks basic professional respect. I originally applied for an Application Manager role which was put "on hold," yet I saw it being actively refreshed on LinkedIn. I was then pivoted to a Solutions Architect role.
The case study, scoped at 12 to 15 hours, actually required over 70 hours of intensive preparation. Mid-process, I was told to "wait" as they slightly changed the assignment scope. To make matters worse, the "Dry Run" was a total waste of time; the feedback provided there was completely unaligned with the final panel’s expectations.
Most disappointing was the behavior of HR. Throughout the process, they were overly polite, wishing me "all the best" at every step while I was providing them with dozens of hours of free work. However, the moment the rejection was decided, the mask dropped. The friendly tone was replaced with arrogance and rudeness. Instead of a professional debrief after such a significant time investment, the feedback provided was dismissive and delivered with a condescending attitude.
Pros:
Market-leading product.
Cons:
Exploitative Workload: They grossly underestimate the time required for case studies (15 hrs vs. 70 hrs).
HR Behaviour: Polite only when they want something; arrogant and rude once the rejection is sent.
Internal Disarray: Total lack of alignment between the "Dry Run" and the Final Presentation panel.
Dishonest Pipelining: Putting roles "on hold" while still actively recruiting for them on social media.
Advice to Management:
Fix your culture of candidate treatment. Being polite only when a candidate is a "prospect" and turning arrogant after a rejection is the height of unprofessionalism. If a candidate gives you a week's worth of free consulting, they deserve a respectful, human conversation and constructive feedback not a rude, template-style dismissal.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Celonis in Nov 2022
Interview
Culture red flag! One call with the recruiter who said I will be hearing from a coordinator to schedule the interview and instead they started ignoring my follow-up emails and sent me an automated rejection email. this happened twice with this company with 2 different recruiters.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Celonis (New York, NY) in Jul 2024
Interview
Hr round, then hiring manager, then panel presentation. BEYOND DISORGANIZED. Instructions for the demo are outdated, and linked Python libraries have been deprecated. The interviewers initially thought I misunderstood the task; however, it became clear to everyone on the call that Celonis messed up
