Century 21 Construction interview questions

They got my resume through a recruiter. Called me in for an interview. Called me 3 weeks later for second interview. Started that Monday. The first interview was with the chief estimator, the second interview was with the owner, vp, and chief estimator.

I found this opportunity through my school. Upon sending them my resume, they then sent me 2 online tests. The tests were extremely simple and had nothing to do with engineering. I was then emailed that same day to come in for an interview later on that day. Upon arriving to the interview I was asked to fill out the application. Interview was very simple as well. Within less then 24 hours, I received an email saying that they would like to offer me the position. However, the starting salary was 50% less then what I was asking for. Therefore, I chose to decline their offer.
