1st interview with the recruiter. 2nd with Chief Economist. 3rd and 4th with VP Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager 5th Technical interview to go through design exercise. All the interviews over 2 weeks went great. Chainalysis called next day to congratulate and said the feedback has been great and they will come back with time for HR interview. Din't come back for a week and then I received an apology email. What does this tell me: 1. The company does not value talent and lacks decency of keeping candidates informed especially after misleading them. 2. They either have some favoritism going on or they probably could not afford me and realized it late. 3. Most of the interviewers seemed skeptical about future as they are very tightly coupled to Crypto business. Common fear : The day one western country bans crypto - they are done with.
