Started off with a call with the recruiter on basic background and resume related questions. The interview was straight forward and I was told that the next round will be a small take home MCQ test on JavaScript. It was a 15 min test and again easy questions.
After I cleared that round, I had my 3rd technical round on a front end coding challenge for an hour and as soon as the interview began, the interviewer with no introduction no communication simply said here is the coding challenge link and you can share your screen. Found it a bit weird but never mind.
The coding challenge was on hackerrank on DOM manipulation, fetching data from an API, displaying results and adding event listeners. I was able to solve the whole thing with a few hiccups in the middle ( which able to resolve it). I felt I did great and surely would be called for an onsite but I never heard back from the recruiter. After sever follow ups, I was told they are going ahead with someone else (expected). I asked for feedback but that never came through.
In short, the interview was good and not too crazy but I don't know what their expectations are.
