I applied for an Editorial Manager and Social Media Copywriter position with Chopra. The person I spoke to did not answer my call during our scheduled time together. When he called me back an hour later, it sounded as if he was out running errands. He then began speaking to me as if I was interviewing for an Engineering or Logistics position. He had completely forgotten who I was and which role I was applying for. When I politely reminded him of my name and background, he then asked me to send over writing samples before rushing me off the phone. Due to his lack of interest and presence in who I was, I believe the samples were never passed to the content department. I followed up via email with both him and the content department but never heard back from anyone saying the position had been filled by someone else or they weren't interested. Which, like most, I believe is the least you can do after taking the time to "interview" someone.
