First submitted an online application (resume, why this program, solution to a card-drawing game). Then had a 30 minute zoom interview with a current trader. Walked through my resume and answered a series of probability questions about two bins of balls (mainly conditional expectation).

Question 1
There are two bins, one with x balls and one with y balls. Each bin has 50% red balls and 50% blue balls. After randomly selecting a bin and drawing twice without replacement, you get RR. Which bin is more likely to have been chosen? For what values of x and y does your draw give you the most information?

A couple questions about my background but most of the interview was a dice game brainteaser. Interviewer was someone from the quant team. No HR read between submitting your application and getting a technical interview.
