I applied online. The process took 8 months. I interviewed at Clark County Water Reclamation District
Interview
The process - Short briefing, 5 interview questions (similar to the application supplemental questions), ask questions. Unprofessional interview setup – Started late, their cameras and mics didn't work, so not interactive.

Interview
I applied online and was selected for a virtual interview because I passed my FE exam. There were 8 questions and only 2 people were asking questions. The positions were in the Design division and the Construction division.
However, in addition to the 2 hiring managers and the 1 HR person, there were 4 other engineers there to observe. There was NO need to have extra people in the interview. The other 4 people proudly announced their titles. As I saw it, these guys just recently got their PE Licenses and were recently promoted. It was very unprofessional. Also, the hiring managers were way too young which easily screams workforce maturity issues. Think about it this way, would you work for someone who is at your age or younger than you just because they got their PE license? The entire process was unprofessional and it immediately raised a red flag for me. I’ve seen organizations where the hiring managers were young and it only proves there is no stability. So, I decided to tank the interview, but only after I heard the questions. I didn’t want to join a bad organization (full of young managers with no life experiences to make personnel decisions and no patience to be a leader or someone to learn and follow) out of desperation as it will only set me up for another bad organization in the future.
