I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Coinbase (Bengaluru) in Mar 2022
Interview
DO NOT INTERVIEW with Coinbase. I RUINED 2 months with 5 rounds of interviews. Despite being a "HELL YES" in all the 5 rounds, I ended up hearing that the role is no more available. Why the "HELL" did they take my interview in the first place if there was no vacancy? I have read 10s of interview experiences on Glassdoor and it's true that they do not RESPECT and VALUE the time and efforts of a candidate. It really pains and hurts to realize how badly a company played with my time.
I would have PREFERRED to hear that I failed the interviews rather than hearing that I cleared all the rounds but the offer couldn’t be rolled out due to no vacancy! :'(
Entrevista sobre react para front-end, foi pedido para criar um dropdown de componente react UI, passaram a foto de como queria, e você entra num site para fazer um pair programming e codar.

Question 1
Apenas pediram pra criar o dropdown, depois perguntaram se teria alguma outra forma de fazer o onBlur, e o que melhoraria de perfomace na aplicação?
1) Recruiter call
2) Frontend assessment, but they leave out the part that during your 90-minute "test" you'll be surveilled (camera + speakers on+screenshare) and not allowed to look up anything.
3) Complete a coinbase value assessment (answer it as a type A ladder-climbing person)
Terrible process overall, not even FAANG companies do this ridiculous assessment.

I applied online. I interviewed at Coinbase in Jan 2024
Interview
Recruiter call, two take-home (cultural, technical) assessments, virtual on-site interviews (technical execution, domain, and foundational/cultural). Process was smooth and interviews were decent (except for the cultural take-home which was a bit ridiculous).
