I learned of this job from a recruiter who managed my interactions with the organization. The interview process occurred in two rounds. The first round was a video conference with Hiring Manager (CIO) and went well, leaving me excited about the opportunity. The second round was in person on a Friday. During this meeting, I spoke with the in-house recruiter and again with CIO. At this point, all indications were of a positive experience, with the CIO asking when I wanted to start and discussing what my first days would be about. Before leaving, it was decided I should meet with two additional individuals. Unfortunately, this was the end of any positive feelings about the job. The individuals conducted themselves in a manner I felt was disorganized, aggressive, and seemed more intent on blocking anyone that would bring change to the organization. After this encounter I was so bothered by the toxicity of the two individuals and the work culture they spoke of that I informed the recruiter I was no longer interested in the opportunity.
