Colorminium interview questions

Had an initial interview and it was the most uncomfortable interview I’ve ever had! To begin with the interviewer did not turn on her camera during the whole duration of the team’s meeting. Her tone was extremely awful, she was speaking to me as if I had interrupted her personal time. Nearly every question I answered she had a terrible response I.e. when asked about the pay I said I don’t have a specific number because this is a job I want pay is not an issue as I would love the opportunity to be able to fulfil my passion and long term career goal, she responded to that asking how am I going to pay my rent, reasonable totally inappropriate the way she worded it and I don’t even pay rent so I was confused as to where she got that information from and why she would assume that. She also stated she don’t think I will fit the culture because I said I’m a peoples person and “the company culture is coming in and getting on with your work, not much talking. Everyone has a life outside of work” totally irrelevant to my many skills as I’ll be going to work, not meet my friends for a catch up. Also being a people’s person is crucial for the job as a QS you will need to liaise with manufacture as they don’t have any of their own as she stated and clients. Building relationships is extremely important. Also said they haven’t hired for the role in 7 years because they usually do internally hire. Plus they had a job description for the role.
