Contra Costa County Fire Protection District interview questions

I got to my interview 15 minutes early, and was met by a lady who didn't bother to get my name correct and gave me a stank look the whole time during the interview, I turned down the job because they said based on my working history, I am entry level and tried to low ball me lower than what the actual job shows on the government website, you will pay pre-tax if you work there and only get paid the 10th of every month. Mind you, I have More than one year of applicable experience Specialized training, Certifications that show I go above and beyond, Awards/honors, and college credentials, and still tried to lowball me than the average pay.
