Interview
It was short and confusing, at first I thought it was gonna be something I would have to work for but I read other reviews and some were negative which got my mind working a bit, and after entering the room with the interviewer, he told me I would be doing door to door sales. I didn’t apply for such a position and it felt like everyone was doing door to door sales except the receptionist. Anyone who is trying to apply for this, be aware, you only get commission, and the hours are extremely long, you won’t have time for yourself or your family. I don’t have nothing special about me for the company to even want me, my resume was pathetic and the were only looking to build a bigger team. They put you through a 2 step interview process and then on the second interview they’ll hire you regardless of what your resume says.

Interview
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! This was the most sketchy interview I have ever been on in my entire life! After setting up an interview for the next day I researched the company and saw the reviews how its DOOR TO DOOR SALES so i called back to cancel and they told me i wouldnt be interviewing for that position. I stuck with the interview to give it a try. I walked in the interview and instantly it felt incredibly unprofessional. About 3 minutes into the interview i felt like a Fool with a capital F! This company will lie thru their teeth just to get you in for an interview and im telling you! DO NOT FALL FOR IT! if you get a call from cornerstone please run for the high hills as fast as you can! I then come to find out that a friend of mine also applied to the role and looked up the company before speaking to someone and instantly wanted no part of it. He then showed me that he was contacted 9 times within 3 days! A company shouldnt be desperate for employees! Maybe if you werent running a scam then people would want to come in for interviews.

Interview
I was contacted by the secretary for an interview. I had applied to many jobs previously and did not remember all of the company names off the top of my head. I went into my email to find the email confirmation for my application and could not find one. I also had a very hard time finding any job postings for this job online. I came to the scenario that the company must have just found my resume online and contacted me. I went to interview at this company in Fairfield, NJ and when I arrived the office said "NYSL Promotions" on the door. I was confused, but quickly remembered that I had interviewed at this company previously for an internship in college. My interview with them was extremely short and the company seemed to have no idea what they were doing. To top things off, when I walked in there were about 10 people waiting all for the same interview and they were being called back one by one for a five minute interview each it seemed. Apparently, the companies are sharing offices in Fairfield? The interview did not seem interested with what I had to say at all and stated that this was a sales position. He only asked me sales questions, such as if I had ever worked in sales. The entire situation seemed sketchy to me and extremely unprofessional. I recommend doing your research on both of these companies before interviewing with them. The entire experience was not worth my time and effort.
